Jailbreak 5K 2025 

Family of the Fallen proudly hosted our very first 5K this year, beginning and ending at Mardi Gras Park in downtown Mobile. This location was chosen with deep meaning—it represents the foundation of where our journey began. Mardi Gras itself originated in Mobile, and its traditions carry powerful symbolism for our organization, reminding us of community, celebration, and remembrance.

What made this event especially meaningful was the involvement of the families we honor. We were privileged to have a family member representing one of our fallen officers kick off the race, and later present awards to the winners. Their presence was a powerful reminder of why we exist: to ensure that the sacrifices of their loved ones are never forgotten.

By bringing families into the heart of this event, we reaffirmed our mission—to celebrate their strength, honor their loss, and remind them that they will always be cherished by our community.
