Cause: Vehicular Assault

​

Officer Williams was directing traffic on an accident scene when he was struck by a non-related vehicle. After striking Officer Williams, the driver fled the scene. Officer Williams succumbed to his injuries two days later.

Officer Williams had served with the Mobile Police Department for four years. He is survived by his wife, Mary.
