March 2, 2019, marks the date that the Family of the Fallen was able to pay special tribute to officers that were killed or injured in the line of duty. Nine families of fallen officers paraded the streets of downtown Mobile, Alabama, on a float designed to honor first responders.
We are forever grateful for the generosity shown by the Mobile Mystics Mardi Gras Organization, in not only designing this float, but allowing us to use it for our special parade. Without them, this year's event could not have happened.
Special thanks also goes out to Gulf Coast Beads, for not only providing throws to each of our participants, but for extending their services and crew to ensure that the float was loaded and ready to go for these special families.
Our thanks is extended to Gulf Coast Tours for providing a beautiful and climate controlled trolley and professional driver to transport our families to and from the downtown area. We certainly appreciate your services.
Local news stations covered events leading up to and including this parade as well as assisted our organization in gaining the donations needed to make this a successful event. We are once again grateful to Deep South Focus Photography for capturing all of the special moments involved in this event.
